Welcome to the most romantic experience

Join us for an evening of romance with your loved one at One of our Luxury Castle Valentine’s Dine and Stay event, taking place on Friday 14th February 2021

Guests will be invited to arrive from midday to enjoy the Castle and Gardens. Bedrooms will be available to check into from 3pm. The afternoon is then yours to relax and enjoy the cosy facilities offered by the Astor Wing. Warm yourself in front of the log burning stove in the Music Room or play billiards. You could even wrap up and take a romantic stroll around Lake Walk or enjoy a heavenly carpet of Snowdrops on the Snowdrop Walk.

As dusk falls, you will be escorted to the Castle for a private drinks reception, where our classical harpist will provide beautiful music as you enjoy a Hever speciality ‘Love Martini’ in front of the fire.

The tour

Take a private guided tour of the Long Gallery, home to Hever Castle’s new Tudor portraiture exhibition, where our Castle guide will share an insight into the many romantic twists and turns that played out during the Wars of the Roses and the Reformation.

Romantic Dinner in our Castle

Dinner will then be served in the panelled Tudor Suite Dining Room where guests will be seated at tables of two as our harpist continues to provide soft background music.
Dress code for the evening is evening attire, we do find that most guests like to dress for the occasion!

Choose from our valentines dinner menu a seasonal delight based on local produce offering four courses with the option to add a cheese and port course if you wish, there will be an after dinner bar available until midnight.
Breakfast the next morning will be held in the Tudor Suite Dining Room, served between 8am and 9.30am before check out at 10.30am, after which you are free to enjoy the Castle and gardens at your leisure.
