By making a booking, the first named person on the booking agrees on behalf of all persons detailed on the booking that:
• You have read these terms and conditions and the Property Owners Terms and Conditions
• You are over 18 years of age.
BOOKING AND PAYMENT
In order to confirm your chosen arrangements, you must pay a deposit as required by the Property owner (or full payment if within the given time as required by the owner).
We will send you (by email) a payment receipt for all monies you pay to us.
Please check your confirmation carefully and report any incorrect or incomplete information to us immediately.
If you have paid a deposit, you must pay the full balance by the balance due date notified to you. If full payment is not received by the balance due date, we will notify the Property Owner who may cancel your booking and charge the cancellation fees set out in their booking conditions. In this event we will also charge you an administration fee.
CANCELLATIONS
Any cancellation or amendment request must be sent to us in writing, by email, fax or post, and will take effect from the day we receive it. Please ensure that you have received written confirmation of any changes to your booking prior to travel. Amendments and cancellations can only be accepted in accordance with the terms and conditions of the provider of your arrangements. The provider may charge the cancellation or amendment charges shown in their booking conditions (which may be as much as 100% of the cost of the travel arrangements and will normally increase closer to the date of departure). In addition we may ask you to pay an administration fee of £25 per person for any amendments. You will be notified of the exact charges at the time of amendment or cancellation and it is recommended that you contact us prior to amendment or cancellation in order to confirm the charges applicable.
CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS BY THE PROPERTY OWNER
We will inform you as soon as reasonably possible if the provider needs to make a significant change to your confirmed arrangements or to cancel them. We will also liaise between you and the Property in relation to any alternative arrangements offered by the Property Owner but we will have no further liability to you.
Your contract is with the Property Owner and their Terms and Booking conditions will apply. Luxury Castle Hire accept no responsibility for the actual provision of the arrangements. Our responsibilities are limited to making the booking in accordance with your instructions. We accept no responsibility for any information about the arrangements that we pass on to you in good faith.
INSURANCE
You are strongly recommended to take out personal travel insurance for all members of your party. It is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance you purchase is adequate and appropriate for your particular needs. Insurance should include cover against the cost of cancellation by you and assistance (including repatriation) in the event of accident or illness. Please read your policy details on receipt and ensure that you take them with you on holiday.
COMPLAINTS
Because the contract for your arrangements is between you and the Property Owner any queries or concerns should be addressed to them. If you have a problem whilst on holiday, this must be reported to the Owner or House Manager immediately. If you fail to follow this procedure, there will be less opportunity for the Property Owner to investigate and rectify your complaint.
If you wish to complain when you return home, please write directly to the Property Owner or House Manager
DEPOSIT
If requested by the provider, a security deposit is payable to the Property Owner at the time of final payment. This money is held by the owner during your stay and will be refunded in accordance with the Property Owners terms and conditions.
Luxury Castle Hire only uses the information provided by the House Owner and we have no responsibility for the accuracy of this information or errors in any documentation, except where those errors were made by ourselves. Property descriptions can be updated at any time – you must therefore check all details of your arrangements with us prior to booking.
