Those looking for a place for a family gathering or a getaway with a large group might opt for the lovingly restored Kingshill Farmhouse. This beautiful 18th-century building can sleep up to 14 guests in four luxurious en-suite bedrooms and a family suite on the top floor. From the cosy library to the grand drawing-room, the Farmhouse can provide for all occasions.

Elmley Cottage is another fantastic option for larger groups, sleeping 10. The open plan living areas and the large windows which flood the cottage with natural light, provide a calm and relaxed atmosphere. There’s even room for 12 yoga mats, so the cottage is a popular option for retreats.

If you’re looking for a romantic getaway or a cosy hideout for a small family, one of the six gorgeous huts might be the option for you. Each hut sleeps 2 (some sleep 2 plus 2 kids) and has its own personality and unique features. All look out over acres of wilderness! From outdoor showers and baths to bespoke massages and reiki treatments, your stay at Kingshill Farm will be unique and luxurious.

If you have an event coming up, such as a wedding or a work get-together, Kingshill Farm has a traditional Kentish barn which has space for up to 200 guests and there is accommodation available for up to 114.

All of the accommodation has access to the Nature Reserve which is an essential habitat for many over-wintering and breeding birds. Venture out onto one of the trails and you might catch a glimpse of some rare water birds exploring the ponds or a bird of prey swooping overhead. Hares are regularly spotted leaping across the meadows and a huge variety of other small mammals and insects can be found enjoying the wetlands and wildflowers.

Elmley Nature Reserve is located on the Isle of Sheppey and there’s plenty of exploring to do should you want to venture into the local area. Spend a day on Sheerness Beach or head back to the mainland to wander along the beautiful cliffs of Saxon Shore Way.
