Our unique and exclusive grounds include a private lake and babbling brook, as well as the charming, stone-built Darwin Hall, which has two large function rooms. The Hall interior has a classy multifunctional design, allowing you to create just the atmosphere and look you seek for your special day. This hall presents a unique, high quality wedding venue for entire weekend celebrations or midweek one day weddings to suit your needs here in the Darwin Forest.
The hall – which can seat up to 130 people on either floor – sits adjacent to the lawns, which can easily support a large marquee. These run down to the lake and babbling brook.
We also have 17 quaint, four-star, stone cottages at Darwin Lake, each with modern interiors and many with recent design by our interior designers. These can accommodate groups from 16 to 110 guests, where you and your guests can all relax in the comfort of our beautiful surroundings for the duration of your wedding weekend.

Each of our beautiful stone-built cottages are named after historic halls, castles, stately homes and picturesque villages found in the Derbyshire area. All are newly decorated by our professional interior designer. We can sleep from 4 to 110 guests in total for a wonderful Group venue Derbyshire.
