Greywalls Hotel is a five-star Edwardian country house uniquely situated on the edge of Muirfield Golf Championship Course just 20 miles from Edinburgh. ABOUT THE HOTEL
Greywalls is an ornate, country house with an abundance of character. An ideal base for your adventures in East Lothian, idyllic touches include the private summer tea house located in the gardens and also the stunning views over Muirfield Championship Golf Course.
Accommodation
There are a total of 23 bedrooms, sleeping 42 guests, including Cottage rooms located within a couple of minutes of the main building. The Colonels House a short walk from the hotel also has 4 bedrooms, lounge and kitchen which is ideal for families and groups.
Dining
The Restaurant at Greywalls is Chez Roux, which is overseen by the legendary French chef Albert Roux, OBE, KFO. The Restaurant is spread over 4 beautiful dining rooms including a private dining Whisky room, lined with cabinets that showcase some fine and are malts. There is also a bar area with a great selection of Malt Whiskies and other local beverages.
Golf
Greywalls is the next door neighbour to Muirfield Championship Golf Course and have limited access to tee-times at the course (please note these need to be booked well in advance of arrival). There are also a further 21 golf courses within 11 miles of Greywalls. The staff can put together some wonderful experiences playing some of the best course Scotland has to offer.
