Want to visit an island that is home to some of the most picture-perfect beaches in the world? Or limestone carts? Or full of lush rainforests? Phuket is the place to head! The largest among all the Thai islands, Phuket has it all – from world-class shopping venues to a huge number of entertainment options. After spending a few days on this paradise, you will find it hard to leave this place. There are a lot of things to do here and to help you plan a perfect trip, here’s a list of some of the best things that you can do while your stay here.

  1. See the Big Buddha

In Phuket, one of the most famous landmarks is the huge Buddha, sitting at the top of the Nakkerd Hills. It is forty meters tall. You can get a panoramic view of the island from the top of the hill. The surrounding of the big Buddha is quiet apart from the sound of some little bells and the dharma music. As the Buddha is made from white Burmese marble, it sparkles beautifully in the sun.

  1. Stay at the Naka Yai Island

Is luxury something that you are fond of? Then don’t forget to stay at the Naka Island Resort which is just 5 minutes away from Phuket. This resort has everything that you need – privacy, space, verdant gardens, a stunning view of the sea and an authentic island accent! Also, if you are an adventure lover, they have some amazing activities for you including kayaking, sailing, bike tour and windsurfing. What more do you want?

  1. Go beach hopping

Yes, you read it right! There are plenty of beaches in Phuket because of its large size. If you are not a crowd-loving person, then you can skip out on visiting the most crowded tourist beaches of Kata, Patong and Karon and visit some of the less crowded beaches in a motorbike or car. You may visit beaches such as Surin, Nai Thon, Kata Noi and Banana Beach. The choice is yours!

  1. Go shopping

Love shopping? Don’t forget to visit the Phuket Town weekend night market! Locally known as the Naka Market, this market has all kinds of things such as animals, fruits and clothes. If you want to have a good look around the market, it would be best if you arrive late in the afternoon before it becomes crowded.

  1. Go biking in the Koh Yao Noi Island

Are you going to stay in Phuket for a while? Then we would highly recommend that you go for the biking tour around the lush forested areas, rubber plantations and fields in the Koh Yao Noi Island. This is an ideal day trip for people who love adventures. Ride through the beaches and the rice fields, having a great time.

Visit Phuket and make memories that you can cherish forever!
